Tenute Tomasella, Cabernet Franc 2021

Tenute Tomasella is located on the border between Friuli and Veneto, between the DOC Friuli and the Prosecco DOC Treviso, where they are able to tap into the very best the two appellations have to offer. Established in 1965 by the Tomasella family, their passion for producing great wine has been handed down from generation to generation, the current custodian being Paolo Tomasella. Cabernet Franc 2021 is ruby red in colour with purple tinges. An intense nose of violet, redcurrant and the classic Cab Franc green bell pepper moves to a velvety, medium-full bodied palate with further fruity notes along with some smoke. A really good example of what single varietal Cab Franc can offer, and one which is equally at home with poultry or roasted red meats.
